Anyone else having issues with the app not showing the right info? Our 50e charging is off on the main page but then when you open up the actual charge page it appears correct.. server issues?

I checked for both 45e and 530e. the app is current and accurate

usually a telematics reboot fixes it if it’s a server communication issue (I’m in Virginia)

Ours happened right after the software update.
Both show 100% but it’s 42 mile range vs 27 on the app main page for us.

Happens to me the first two days when I added my new car to the BMW app, but it works well after two or three days.

I tried to uninstall/install app, remove/add my car, both didn’t work.

The last few days, my estimated range as listed in the vehicle and via the app do not match…previously, they almost always did. No recent s/w updates. I haven’t tried a reset…next time I get in it I’ll try to remember.

Haven’t done a reset in the car either and it was just in the shop for a cel. They did “updates” and since then my total range at 100% shows at 29 miles on main page to 45 miles on the charging plan. When in the car it’s 45..

It seems to be a bug in the app. Same issue here. The main page in the app shows the miles left incorrectly. The value seems to be the km version of the correct miles. When you click on it, the next screen shows the correct value.

Still the issue. I did try the telematics reboot but no changes. The miles are correctly displayed everywhere in the app and the iPhone widget but not on the main page.

this issue started yesterday for me. I’ve reported it and mentioned it on the FB group as well.

today’s app update 4.5.1 doesn’t appear to address/fix the issue

Reported it too in the app a couple of days ago. I was hoping the new updated app would have the issue corrected but we can only be patient now and wait for a new one soon.

I had this issue, but there was an app update released on 14 May 2024 that seems to have fixed mine after I downloaded it. That was on an iPhone…not sure if Android also got an update or needed it.

Same here. Yesterday’s update fixed it.

yup, app version 4.5.2 fixed it. no issues after updating to iOS 17.5 either

Fixed but still not perfect. While I am charging now, the app shows 77%/24miles on the main page but in the charging details 77%/23miles. It is close enough… but it is still I interesting that they are not able to display the same info in all places.

Closer, but not exact.
Confusing as it was exact before all of the upgrades. -1 mile on charging screen like you.

The vehicle or app may be rounding with different rules…i.e., the app may round down, and the vehicle round up. But, it’s better than when it was not updating and off by 10-20 miles…maybe the next update!?
