So done this today very straight forward and wondering how’s it’s going to go, any advice please?

There is barely any update note for this update so I have no idea what it is actually fixing. But I am plannning to apply this update tonight and hopefully random CarPlay not connecting issue will be fixed.

I agree looking through the notes it appears to be minimal.

The things I would like improving aren’t going to fixed by a OTA update

I.e comfort access reliability, I think the receivers must have been moved

Certain screens on i drive you can’t adjust temp, a small thing but annoying.

Good stuff the hard reset seems to have sorted the app out now, and seems really reliable

I have received it as well but struggling to download in car as can't connect car to wi fi, had no problem with idrive 7, no mention of ambient airfix in notes.

customer support told me there is a bug on this version, therefore I need to wait for the fix. This is crazy

No connected drive anymore. The shit show continues... Morons

I called Connected Drive customer support. It's a known issue with this release and their telephone lines are ringing off the hook the past 2 days because of this issue. This is really unbelievable.

Issue got fixed ! BMW probably push a factory reset or a rollback to my car. It’s now in normal parameters

Since the update I can't refresh my car anymore in the myBMW app.

Mine downloaded the update but says the car is not ready and I get the feeling it's not going to be ready based on what I'm reading.

I'm thinking when it goes in for the run in miles service I'll have them look at it if nothing has changed. Should be warranty I would think and if the do an update there it will take me to the newer firmware anyways which could be a win.

Edit: When I got in the car it told me the update was installed. Closed My BMW and reopened it and the app agrees. Everything appears to be working.
