OTA 11/2023

Any update on rollout date for USA OTA 11/2023? I was told by 'genius' that it's scheduled for this week, but haven't seen any posts yet.

It has started rolling out in Europe, likely will be here within a month or so.

Other models are getting the update this week so it shouldn’t be to far away,

The main update for 11/2023 is the improved road sign detection and traffic lights.

Hi all,

Anyone know if the 11/23 update is available at dealers? My dealer has agreed to update me no charge as My M50i will not install the 3/23 update via OTA. Scheduled for next week.

They have had it since November.

I don't recall anyone on iD7 posting that they got it but since updates for iD7 are mainly just adjustments/fixes it is not surprising no one mentioned it.

I don't think we have heard of any problems with the 8/8.5 OTAs but the 7 ones still have a lot of problems.

My issue is I have been notified 3/2023.50 was available, I downloaded it to the vehicle successfully but simply never installed - this has happened twice. Then the update expires. This a a 2020 M50i- and I had never had an issue with any of the previous OTA’s. Dealer admits they have had problems with this update on various models. I wanted to get it done before my warranty expires, since I’m concerned I won’t get future updates if I didn’t get this one done.

My M50i is booked in for update next wednesday, have spoken to UK customer services and they say 11/23 is available, hopefully will be available in US. Mine hasn't updated to 7/23 over the air hence dealer carrying it out.

Will be applicable to yours Malvern man.

Hello,

Have you tried the new feature of 11/23 that drive recorder videos can now be viewed in The My BMW app? As you have a 2020 M50i as I do curious if that works in ID7.

I got a notification for an OTA update, but my android BMW phone app says it was blocked from installing. It tells me I need to drive the vehicle to charge the starter battery.

2024 X5 40i.

I was already running 11/2023.25... which still has quite a few bugs in it.

I just did the OTA update yesterday for my M60i. Now its been updated to 11/2023.42
