There seem to be lots of restrictions when ordering the 40i.

Active Steering requires Air Suspension.

Air suspension not available with "M" package.

But you can get the M differential with the Air suspension by ordering the off-road package.

So if you want car like handling which will be better, the "M" package or the offroad package by lowering the air suspension and taking advantage of the fancy M diff.

Also, how does the active suspension compare with the older version in the E70 (and I guess F15) X5s?
