Anything more than 3% in the US will surprise me. The X5 is very expensive compared to the competition and a huge price increase will not be tolerated by many buyers. The x3 is not a viable alternative for buyers who are accustomed to the plushness and size of the x5. The x3 is conderably more down market. Thus, people will switch brands if they are priced out of the x5. As a result, the price increase wont be that much over the current gen.

BMW has always focused on upper middle class and the rich, nothing new.

So the new G05 doesn't have the rear entertainment system option??!!!
I don't see it on the Belgian configurator anywhere. Last edited by Shaw; 06-21-2018 at 02:29 PM.. |

Yes. And BMW is increasingly pushing prices beyond the reach of even upper middle class. If BMW is going to shift upwards towards only the rich, so be it, but the rest of us are going to miss the brand.

Anyone know the the difference between the 2 axel air suspension and the m-sport adaptive suspension professional?
As it seems if you request the 3rd row then you have to have the 2 axel suspension. |

UK 40i M-Sport gets the M exhaust system...and the US doesn't. Lame.
