Picked up my Skyscraper Grey 50e and did a 200 mile Saturday in a mix or Sport and Hybrid. Used DAPP and was impressed. :thumsup

Picked up my 50e in Tanzanite Blue II with cognac interior. Including a picture of the Fineline Open Pore Wood interior, since I was looking for as many pictures as I could find when researching.

I’m about 200 miles from the dealer, so had plenty of time to test out DAPP. Really liked it and made for a nice and easy drive home. Wife really enjoys how smooth the drive/acceleration is.

Just noticed this today. I feel like I shouldn’t have a big gap under the speaker where I can see the insides of the door. Anyone else have this and/or know of I should bring this up to my dealership?

That seems to be a huge gap, how big is the gap?

Here’s the key card next to the gap. It’s not really big, but I can see wires. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thankfully it’s not as big of a gap on the other side. But still looks too high to me. Guess that’s what you get when they build your car on a Sunday. Someone must’ve been hungover or something! Taking the car in for a BMW service appointment later this month to show them.

I was told week 22 but I just got notification that production has started on my 50e and I have a VIN. Hooray!

You would still be week 22. Production Begins does not mean that assembly has begun but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. This usually occurs about 2 weeks prior to your production date. You can now use the "F12" process to get your production date.

I went to check my car today and thankfully it was built on a Wed and not on a Sunday. There is no visible gap on my car.

Update on the speaker! The place who tinted my windows is the one who messed up the speaker placement. I didn’t even know they had to take that off to tint windows. Hopefully that’s helpful info for y’all. If you go get windows tinted, make sure they put your car back together correctly! 🙄
