weird window washer glitch
Checking to see if this has happened to anyone else.
Car is a 2022 with about 20k on the clock. Last week I pulled the washer stalk like I’ve done 100x. Washer sprays the front windows then the chime comes on the refill the fluid. I fill it up and go on my way. The next day I pull the stalk and fluid sprays out the back but not the front - wipers in the front come on (but not the back). Assuming I had the wrong setting, I checked and it was set to front wiper / spray only. Pivoted to rear and it worked as it should - spray and wiper in the back. Then I shift the setting to the front and same issue - spray comes out the back (no rear wiper movement), front wipers do their 2 or 3 standard swipes but no fluid in the front. Front nozzles are clear - pumps aren’t even trying when I try to spray front. It seems like the car is spraying rear only in all spray settings. Anyone else experience this glitch? Fix ideas other than dealer (under warranty but pain in the butt to schedule and go)? |

so pulling the stalk to activate front windshield washer fluid actually activates the rear window washer fluid?
try an iDrive reboot. if that doesn’t fix, then it’s dealer time |
Appreciate
