My tech texted it was time for margaritas tonight, so I had a generous pour of Yellow Spot tonight. Hopefully I can get some shuteye tonight
My wife and I drove to Silver Oak Winery in the Oakville area of Napa Valley. We had 4 Cabernets (including 2 library wines), a non-Cab red blend and a Sauvignon Blanc from their affiliated winery. The tasting included a charcuterie plate.
85Shark wroteBeen to silver oak. Miss Napa. We used to do an annual road trip when we lived in CA. Looks delicious! If there is a wine tasting thread, I haven't seen it. Since we were sipping wine I thought I'd post this here.

We're fortunate to be 65 miles (about 75 minutes) from Oakville. You should fly out for the Silver Oak 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon release party which is Saturday, February 7. It's the weekend before the Super Bowl so you won't miss any football (or da Bears if they're still playing) and it's warmer too.
