vennids wroteThat is funny...Complete opposite experience here, they all work except the bimmertech one.
KevinC wroteJust go in circle after after "Solve Captcha"^^ that's really odd, works fine on my Macs, Safari or Chrome.
includes Porsche, Mini and Rolls Royce.
As you have found, listings are often wrong on details on sites like auto trader, cars dot come and even dealer websites.
Oetzie97 wroteLovely. I didn't need to sign up. Nice as vehicle options list contains codes.MY go to Decoder is BIMMERTOOL.
Requires a signup, but was the only one I came across that listet the original dealer that sold the car.
Never mind. Thanks for the link above.
wlad67 wrotemycarfax.com - which is free - will allow you to add a number of cars to your "garage" to track. It will show any *reported* service history. Can be very handy, especially if a car has always been serviced at a shop or dealership that reports. Super handy if you're just trying to get a quick snapshot of where a car may have been or how frequently it's been serviced. You just can't rely on everything being there - but what IS there should be legit.Hi, does anyone know where you can check the car history?
jhnblckwood wrotewba4w9c54jac08972can someone help me? I only have the last 7 digits of the donor vin and need the whole vin for coding. The last 7 are ac08972. I used to be able to use the decoder and see but now i can n never made a not of it. Would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

walmark wroteI think it only works for cars more than a couple years old. I always get a response that I exceeded my daily limit. Even after a year has gone by since I last tried it.Anything that still works? Just tried mdecoder and bimmertool and they were both dead for me.
Hopefully will be an F30 owner really soon. I've seen one I like but want to find the options it came with, I don't have the VIN , am I able to find out this info from the reg number?
