I will be ordering an X5 in the fall but my wife is concerned if the tailgate is an issue when loading groceries or other items into the back. I know you can leave the tailgate up and lift things over it, however, can you tell me from your experiences if it causes any issues:happyanim:? Thanks

You can lower it to load and just close it when done loading. My wife is about 5'6" and has no issue loading over the tail gate. So far no issues with mine, I rather like the ability to open and unload without worry anything will fall out.

My previous posts - regard G05 fording depth:

Fording depth at standard ground clearance of 8.7" is approximately under 20" at 19.68". With 2-axle air suspension, vehicle height adjustability is two stages to a maximum of 1.6" above the standard setting.

The wading depth is just over 21 inches and there's a water passage identification system that closes your grill and maintains ride height to minimize the possibility of water damage to the engine and electronics.

Hello
I’m new here and just would like to know what are the thoughts from the experts here.
I’m debating to get a 2019 x5 loaded with m package
Or a 2023 x5 base model. Both around the same price $30 to $35k with 50,000 miles
I love the look of the m package and that has ventilated seats. But I fell
Is they around the same price might be better to get the newer x5.

Thoughts!?
Than you in advance
