Sy1616 wroteWe've had ours for almost 3 years - we both use it all the time.Smith machine and also a Peloton. Bought my wife one in January and tomorrow is her 250th ride.
Sy1616 wroteYes, they do! I got some for my platforms. Main platform is two 4'x6' sheets of OSB laid side by side w/ sheet of stained plywood overlapping them and strips of the stall mat on either side.Tractor Supply sells nice 4'x6' thick rubber horse barn mats for cheap that are perfect for the floor
have you had any issues with the screws in the mat next to the plywood causing damage on your weights?
I am happy to hear that the Peloton is working well for you and your wives. I just bit the bullt and bought my wife a Peloton. Earliest delivery is mid January! WTH!
So now I am throwing in the towel and ordering gym equipment for myself. I can't believe how hard it is to find bumper plates and weights in general these days! Yikes! Only people who have bumpers in stock is Eleiko. I can only afford 10lbs at their rates.
PoorLurker wroteThanks! Nope, no issues. I used decking screws and embedded them barely below the surface of the stall mats. Being rubber, the mat material forms around the edges of the screw heads. Plus, the spacing of everything vs the barbell length helps further mitigate damage to the plates. I just have regular iron plates and no issues to date.platform looks nicebosstones

I'd adding in a high pulley so I'll be adding floor anchors to the rack (anchor to the subfloor of the lifting platform). So much for having gotten a rack w/ feet vs floor anchored. lol
Anyone have a handy cam / monitor setup? I figure with today's cam prices, one can spend $500 and get something that records and shows live footage.
hybrid_eg wroteOP, you said light weight routine.. we were in the same position, wanted a home gym as our nearest GYM is packed like a zoo, 24/7.. room we have is quite small (9x13) but made it all fit and works perfect.. again this is all light stuff and we do our running outside.. Tonal really made a difference as there are lots of diff exercise that can be done with this cable set up.. when compared to annual cost of two memberships it was a no brainer..
