Mwill wroteCurrently using the Quest 2, and I'm loving it! Not using wires has been much better with the wires. I've used the Rift S and the Quest 2, and I much prefer the Quest 2.I began with the Oculus Rift, then regretfully upgrade to the Rift S. What headset are you using? Would you recommend it?
Still there's nothing like the Laguna Seca corkscrew in VR (except real life of course) and I'll still use the headset for non competitive lapping for that experience.
I've got a Pimax 5k for racing games. The field of view os a massive improvement for racing games, but the headset itself and the software could be better quality.
I've tried a first gene oculus, a PSVR, and a first gen Vive. The Index is the best one I've tried and it's controllers are much better than any other I tried. That said, the latest from Oculus and Vive are apparently really good.
how are you guys using quest 2 wirelessly for full size pc games? or am i reading your posts wrong?

strohw wroteQuest 2 both in stand alone games and steam VR wireless. Was going to get the G2 but the Quest was a better compromise considering my family likes to play games as well.
TurboSid wroteI'm using wireless, but for a few games I want to play, I plug into my pc.Quest 2w/ quest link cable.

TurboSid wroteI`ve read somewhere you can use virtual desktop or some such thing to play pcvr wirelessly - Need a strong wifi as you`d expect.Quest 2w/ quest link cable.

Didn`t look fully into it as decided to stick with the Rift S for now
I've also used the Quest 1 which works quite well teathered, standalone the processing power is too low. Also used a Vive Pro with wireless which works fine but the signal is not alway 100% when you're using it room scale.
I prefer the Quest 2 for easy of use plus it's suprisingly capable standalone.
Mwill wrotewhy do you regret getting the Rift S? This is what I have and I like it but have nothing to compare to since I haven't tried any other VR. I also don't understand wire vs wireless. I don't even notice the wire. If I was standing up and playing some other game I can see the wire being a problem but sitting in the cockpit I dont notice it is there.I began with the Oculus Rift, then regretfully upgrade to the Rift S. smchuck wroteYeah, seated games, wired is no problem. Try walking up a spiral staircase in SkyrimVR with a wired headset, though.why do you regret getting the Rift S? smchuck wroteRift S has a more narrow field of view than the previous Rift. And the speakers on the Rift S are pretty bad. Currently my Rift S is not working – I’m getting an error that the “sensors cannot be recognized”. Multiple back-and-forth with Oculus Support and they’re telling me to ”be patient and wait for a software update”. Very frustrating.why do you regret getting the Rift S? Mwill wroteGood luck with that, Rift S from what i know is a thing of the past, I own one lol, thankfully its working fine so far, but oculus has made it pretty clear that its focus is on the next gen quest, no more rift anything.Rift S has a more narrow field of view than the previous Rift. mjonesjr8 wroteHow do you like those? There was a bunch of hype before Alex, but havent kept up with it.Valve Index
Not great FOV, but phenomenal resolution! I use mostly seated sim games (DCS, FlightSimulator 2020, Project Cars 2, etc.) so don't really need the controllers which lack behind Rift & Vive in terms of tracking.
Racing asseto corsa competizione and asseto corsa.
I have most of the other big name titles.
Amazing graphics for the price. Need a good video card to get decent frame rates.
For other casual VR gaming, Oculus Quest 2, and use the wireless connection to my PC, when I want to play Steam VR games, free of tethering wires.
