I thought this would be a good place to share a photo of your BMW Classic (pre-2005).

Here are mine.

My 2003 E39 530i Sport Champagne Edition II, one of 150.

My 2002 E46 330i Sport Individual in Velvet Blue, confirmed by BMW UK as the only one in the country with its specification.

Pre 2005 is "classic" now? I must be getting old

My ‘classic’ is a lil black ‘76 saloon… it’s got a couple mods. ;)

Interior driver seat has some wear of course, but the rest of them are super clean:

I also have a little trouble thinking of 2000's cars as "classics" but here we are:

Some shots of my e30 from the meets this morning and last weekend. Apologies for the ugly lip and missing fog light blanks.

Years ago I had a 2012 Mercedes C350 (petrol V6, not the diesel everyone else had!) and also an old ‘98 BMW 328i Convertible. I then , in Sept. ‘15, stupidly let my head rule my heart and bought a new Mercedes E400 Convertible to run as my only car. Big mistake!… the Mercedes was not as well built as the previous C350, didn’t sound anywhere near as good (turbos on the E400 version of the engine muted the exhaust sound) and I just didn’t “gel” with the car so only kept it 7 months. The E36 BMW was in lovely condition and I should have kept it!

Since we are talking classic Bimmers, I thought I'd throw in a fuzzy pic of two of mine (update to include the E86 - later posts include it as a "Classic"):

Your E36 looks mint! Shame you let it go. :(
Is it still going / alive do you know?

My beloved E46 ZHP 4 door. I loved this car & only sold it to get into an E90 M3, which I still have. I contacted the current owner about 1.5 years back hoping to buy it back for my teen daughter, but the guy didn't want to sell it :(
