I found 1 of 2 ever made BMW E31 850CSi finished in individual Santorini blue over black leather interior. It's broken, it's neglected, it's beautiful! The CSi is powered by the S70 V12 engine built by BMW Motorsport, pumping out 380 hp. Despite its low mileage of 73k miles, this rare machine needs a lot of work, and in this episode, we go over the entire condition of the car and start wrenching!

So this car lives at Bimmerworld and he'll come stateside every so often to work on it? Interesting choice - totally fine, but interesting. I suppose it is nice to be right at the source for parts but that's a lot of flying and time away form home.

If they’re letting him store the car there, and parts/people are easily accessible (as opposed to having to wait for shipping parts, maybe paying duty, waiting, and having to ship speciality stuff away[more waiting]), it makes no sense to bring the car back to Germany at this point.If he was keeping it, I'd think he'd ship it to himself now.
To me, the logistics side of things work better if it stays where it is right now. He got a TON done in two weeks, including custom parts.
But like you said, only he knows his plan. I hope he keeps it!
