zx2reme wrotedirect bolt on but u need to remove the air box which is bolted on the metal attaching frame that you need to use to bolt on the X5m front brace. I replace the airbox air inlet part with the FTP inlet pipe instead.Is the oem strut brace straight bolt in? I saw another forum member post about it, bit he had m50i I think. Wasn't sure it fit x40i, but looks like it does. Nice work.
