Is there an order guide for the LCI X5s posted somewhere?

I want to make sure my info is correct:

M60i has rear wheel steering as standard
M60i does not have heated/cooled cup holders or soft close doors available

Thanks
Yes, rear wheels steering is standard and no heated/cooled cup holders available.

Soft close doors are part of the executive pkg.

Heated / cooled cup holders are available in Europe

Not sure why such a silly option is different between the two markets. They even have it in the X5M for the US market so it’s not like they aren’t including it on US spec X5s. Lol.

One of many choices BMW makes which make me wonder… why reduce the headlight functionalities vs pre LCI, or why take away comfort access functionality on rear door handles?

Looks like soft close doors are gone from the Executive Package now. must be parts shortage or more de-contenting

They are on the configurator and the last pricing guide we have seen, is your dealer saying they are gone?

That is a matter of opinion though. The LCI headlights are finally matrix LED while the pre-LCI were not, which is a huge addition to functionality in my opinion. Yes, bend lighting is seemingly worse and some feel like the laserlight was better but this tends to be completely ignored even though it's a huge change, focusing on the negatives instead.

Low beam and high beam performance in a straight line is better on the LCI. considering the Laser function is pretty much useless in my country of Belgium i can live with losing swiveling headlights.

Great breakdown of the LCI. The M50i also did NOT have a M (S series) engine, even though it was a V8 w/ 523hp. But the M60i now has a true M engine in the S68, de-rated down from 617hp in the X5M, to the same 523hp as the previous M50i. But I've read the M60i's S68 can be re-tuned for more HP... not sure if that is true, or when it might be available?

Do I read the charts correctly, if I conclude from them that the LCI is marginally better in terms of light distance and distribution straight ahead, while the lateral performance is worse - and particularly on the passenger side?

correct. to me it seems like the straight ahead distance from the lefthand side headlight performs "alot" better, not just marginally.
but that´s just how i see it, not an expert on this whatsoever

the lateral performance comes down to losing the turning headlights. which is indeed a bummer.

I think the main reason for the overall rating drop is due to the glare they create although I would think the drop in side performance is also a contributing factor.

The S68 is a great engine that is underrated as BMW is well known to do, no secret there.
Baseline testing by Burger Motorsports(JB4) is demonstrating the S68 to be producing nearly 500HP at the wheel which is verging on 600HP at the engine when applying a 15-20% parasitic loss correction and this was on crap 91 octane.
The current S68 is clearly quite underrated.
There is also another 100HP on tap with a simple JB4. Pretty cool stuff.

A couple guys on this board have and are very pleased. These M60is are pushing 700HP with JB4 Map #2 on 93 octane at that point with massive torque.
I am going to go with a JB4 soon after the 1st of the year. I want to get about another 1K miles on it. It is damn fast as is and that is all the reason for more. :bulge:

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the base X5 front end looks better than the M Sport. That black trim piece between the grille and lower intakes is…different.
I agree!!
