X6 M50i. I currently have the stock optioned 22s. I was eyeing the 818M that are on the M’s before I even bought the car and still think they look great. Has anyone bought the replicas? Saw them on eBay for $1600 with shipping and they look really good. Seller has great feedback and 7k+ sold. Anyone have these on their X5/6 and can give some input?

Maybe just me but I would not be putting on cheap Chinese rims from ebay on a heavy high performance vehicle.

I am in total agreement! You will never know the reliability of these Chinese knock-offs and may even be heavier than the stockers you have on now. Keep the OEM 22" 742Ms on your car, they look awesome!

Just know that the 818M is a forged wheel. I bet those aftermarket wheels aren't.

Did you end up getting the replica 818Ms? If so, how are they?

Decided not to as I had planned to get a winter setup & put the idea on hold. Thinking about getting them again but trying to explore other options too. I hate to spend so much money on wheels that aren’t forged OEM.

Just FYI, even OEM cast wheels are $800+/wheel. Personally, I wouldn't go with anything lower than a Vossen or HRE rotary forged wheel. You have a M50i, don't put Chinesium wheels on it.

For whatever its worth i have talked with a couple members on the forum who have been running the 818 and 742 replica wheels, one set from ebay and the other i cant remember from where but they were happy with them and had no complaints.

Then you'll find people on here that buy a nice Vossen/HRE wheelset but then cheap out on some small/no name brand tire (Accelera Iota, Delinte Desert Storm and Arroyo Grand Sport) to put on their nice wheels lol. To each their own and we all have our own priorities and motives. Cheers!

Found a pair of OEM Staggered 818Ms about 2 hours from me out of state in NJ a few weekends ago. Got them for a great price too with just needing to replace the 2 rear tires. I’ll eventually change the fronts to MPS also to match the rears.

These wheels are so much cooler in person. Now I really wish I had picked up a set sooner!

Sorry for reviving an ancient thread, but I want to add a same size wheel(809m) to my 2022 x5 m50i and wanted to see how the wheels were on the x6? Any rubbing? Did you need spacers to make them fit? Any regrets? The installation photo looks awesome.
