CGG wroteI am in total agreement! You will never know the reliability of these Chinese knock-offs and may even be heavier than the stockers you have on now. Keep the OEM 22" 742Ms on your car, they look awesome!Maybe just me but I would not be putting on cheap Chinese rims from ebay on a heavy high performance vehicle.
jbpdt wroteDecided not to as I had planned to get a winter setup & put the idea on hold. Thinking about getting them again but trying to explore other options too. I hate to spend so much money on wheels that aren’t forged OEM.Did you end up getting the replica 818Ms? If so, how are they?
hunter04 wroteJust FYI, even OEM cast wheels are $800+/wheel. Personally, I wouldn't go with anything lower than a Vossen or HRE rotary forged wheel. You have a M50i, don't put Chinesium wheels on it.Decided not to as I had planned to get a winter setup & put the idea on hold. Then you'll find people on here that buy a nice Vossen/HRE wheelset but then cheap out on some small/no name brand tire (Accelera Iota, Delinte Desert Storm and Arroyo Grand Sport) to put on their nice wheels lol. To each their own and we all have our own priorities and motives. Cheers!
These wheels are so much cooler in person. Now I really wish I had picked up a set sooner!
hunter04 wroteSharp! Thanks for sharing.Found a pair of OEM Staggered 818Ms about 2 hours from me out of state in NJ a few weekends ago. Got them for a great price too with just needing to replace the 2 rear tires. I’ll eventually change the fronts to MPS also to match the rears.
