11.8 is killer especially at 5300 lbs.
There are many guys not getting 11.8 with the X5M
Looks like you picked up nealry half a second which is huge when you are already low 12s along with a 4 mile per hour gain @116.5
Your stock metrics are in line if not slightly better than the auto press testing results and it is nice to see this reproducable validation which should be noted by a couple posters here who claim that these professional evaluations reported in C&D, R&T, etc. are fake and made up BS. Obviously not.
Great job and Thanks for sharing. You rock!
ajcool2 wroteGreat video! I love seeing what the M50i can do. I never tried it with mine. That car was a beast; my best car yet. Unfortunately it was totaled so starting over with '24 M60i. How do mods like that affect our warranty?Wassup guys picked up my '21 M50i in September and I'm loving every second of it. Wanted to share my stock 1/4 mile times as well as my times after installing a JB4 this weekend. My best stock time was a 12.175@112 at the track. My best on the street with my draggy was 12.39@112. After installing the JB4 I was able to get a best of 11.84@116 on map 2 using the draggy(with a passenger). I did a run on map 1 and went 11.9@114. I'll be hitting the track as soon as possible to get new times. So far this is the fastest car I've owned. My nitrous 350z went 12.0@114 and my N/A 370z went 12.33@114.
Perhaps I should also invest in a Draggy to see what she can do unofficially. Doubt it will be faster than your #s but this vid looks fun! The greatest part of the V8 is listening to how it roars under throttle. Its truly one of the few cars I've owned where I occasionally prefer listening to the motor while I drive over music.
PNWM50I wroteAre you happy with the gain from the Carbahn piggyback, good SOTP bump?thanks for sharing! I love my M50i and am running carbahn tune (piggy back), Dinan CAI, X5M intake ducts (removes silencers) and will likely thrown on the Dinan axleback as my xmas gift.

cobramite wroteI had the racehip but found the shifts aggressive/harsh (don't want to say rough but it wasn't smooth) when in sport + mode from 0-60 when WOT. I am happy with the throttle response from Carbahn and more happy with the smoothness/crisp shifts when WOT.Are you happy with the gain from the Carbahn piggyback, good SOTP bump?

Im apprehensive on picking up JB4 as I see varying reviews. What’s your take on this piggy back? Is it the easiest, must have solution for power gain? Any drawbacks since you’ve owned it? What map do you continue to run on when driving daily? My highest octane is 92 anywhere around so won’t be putting e85 or 93 in it. Wondering if this is the right move for me.
Thanks for your insight!
