Hi Everybody,

I really can use some help here. I have been getting those lane departure warnings, active blind spot detection warnings, side collision warnings and intersection protection malfunction. As speed increases, these warnings start coming up. The malfunction warnings come up at 5 mph, 20 mph and 40 mph, which make sense. We don't really need lane departure at 5 mph.

Used a scanner and got: 481CFB - Intermittent
SRSNVR: Misalignment – Side Radar Sensor Short Range Front Right

I could try getting a used radar sensor black box and see.

Am I supposed to perform an alignment or re-calibration? Anyone can share a procedure on this?

Much appreciated!

It's in behind the front wheel arch. You have to pop the wheel arch trim off and then remove the wheel arch. Doesn't look like it can be adjusted though. You can check the wiring/connector and make sure it's secured though.

I just had an issues with my front right short- range radar. I scanned the vehicle for codes found 481CFB. This code indicates that the radar module is no longer correctly aligned. The code was tagged as permanent. I removed the right front tire and wheel well liner. I discovered that the radar module was not seated in its slot. I reseated the model, installed the liner and wheel, and then cleared the code. The ADAS system still wasn’t happy as the code came back still tagged as permanent. I reset the radar model and the drove the vehicle for a few miles. I scanned the codes and it now showed as “transitionary”. I cleared the code once again. The ADAS is now happy and all systems are functional. There is no damage on the vehicle and I suspect that the radar module simply shook loose after 45K miles. The code scanner I used is a UCANIC system.
I hope this helps the next person

How did you reset the module?

My guess would be water intrusion since both the front modules are throwing errors. Are all of your underbody panels intact? Check all the electrical connections for water. What does ISTA+ say when you scan it?
