SmhThe Pack had nothing to lose going into that game though and was playing with house money.

Josh-PA wroteWe don't turn anyone away. Can I come join the party. Early prediction: Eagles go 9 - 8 next year and still win the stupid NFC East.

Sure Dak may not be that guy but JJ is the problem which will never be fixed. If he could let BB do his thing, they could at least perform better in the playoffs.
Torgus wroteI did read up on these survey results. The Chiefs results and winning 2 consecutive super bowls is a head-scratcher to me. It must just be the difference of having Reid, Mahomes, Kelce, and that winning continuity. Typically an organization with real a crappy culture or working environment wouldn't be that successful. But then there are my Vikings with the 2nd best scores and now the 11th pick in the draft so there's that.....
For the NFC I think the 49'ers will regress, the Lions will be back and might be even better, Dallas will be dangerous but I still don't trust them in the playoffs, the Rams could make a superbowl run, and the Packers could be on the upswing. My Vikings will win 9 or 10 games but they will not win the division; the Lions and Packers will probably be better teams. If the Bears get much better than the Vikes may only win 8/9 games.
Superbowl prediction: Chiefs vs Rams, Chiefs win by 4 points
I look forward to reading this in a year and seeing how far off I was
Now my Vikings have to get it right in the draft for QB. Potentially career-making or career-ending decisions coming up for the GM.
JMcLellan wroteAny chance Vikes sign a stopgap veteran QB? Or maybe keep the backups they have.....either way, yeah, big decision.Anyone else tracking all the free agent activity? My Vikes lost on the Cousins sweepstakes. I am glad that the Vikings aren't paying that big money to keep him but what's painful is we had a chance to extend Cousins last year on a 3 year deal, and we are stuck with a 28.5 million dead cap hit for Cousins. So we couldn't extend when he had a chance and we still have to pay for him-- extending him was the option that would have reduced or avoided that dead cap hit.

Packers make 2 huge FA signings, just a damn shame they had to release Jones.
Phins letting all their talent go & making no moves. Not happy about being a Phins fan...again lol
lakefront wroteThe local sentiment here is that the Vikes take a shot and make a trade to be able to draft 1 of the first 2/3 QB's in the draft. JJ McCarthy, Drake Maye are some names being tossed around. I am hoping for Jayden Daniels but I think he might be out of reach.Any chance Vikes sign a stopgap veteran QB? I did see the Packers signed Josh Jacobs and was getting really nervous about them having him and Jones. I imagine it hurts as a Packers fan to lose Jones and I'm hoping the Vikes go after him as we need running back help.
Donatello. wroteHere’s to hoping Derrick Henry lands in Dallas. However, have a feeling the Ravens will grab him and Dallas will stand still during free agency.Cowboys need to go after Henry.
