Hi, I'm terrible at negotiating too but I tried this Saturday. I wish someone could rate how I did but I don't see the option to attach photo.

Also, if anyone knows a SA in Phoenix area, preferably Chandler Chapman, I would be happy.

Thank you.

Go to Advanced and use the Paperclip.

It may be tough to judge how you did given it is the beginning of the model, discounts are regional, etc. but I'm sure we will try. ;)

As an aside, an SA is a service advisor. I think you mean you are looking for a CA, client advisor.

I would say you did very well. You got a 10% dealer discount and then have some incentives on top of that and they aren't marking up the APR. Now what you need to do is compare the overall cost of taking the BMW financing with the lower military incentive versus outside financing (check with Navy Federal CU as they have some the lowest rates) with the higher Military incentive.

Yeah I didn't do bad. Going in, I was thinking I could get that 8-10% off MSRP first and then stack the additional incentives. :)

I’m terrible at negotiation and local dealer is selling everything they can get their hands on so they weren’t interested in discounting much at all, as recommended went through Dan and got 9% (in addition to the 4k military discount from BMW direct). I’ll be taking PCD delivery in SC next week. You should check with Dan but I wouldn’t expect 9% on a new 2025 for a few months but I bet he could still get you a very good deal.
formerE36M3/4/5, would that be Dan in Jacksonville? If so please DM me?

Looking to buy X5 40i - MSRP $72,945.
Getting $2-3k dealer discount depending on dealer. Also 1k loyalty or financing discount.
I don’t think these are good numbers but not sure? Also, what are the loyalty rebates for March 2024 and what are financing discounts. I am being told a couple of different stories. Apologize, if this info available on the forum but my searches did not find them. If there is a link for the monthly info I will appreciate it.
Regards and thanks for all the responses

2.99% for in stock 2024 X5. $1k loyalty. $4k military if u finance elsewhere or $500 if u finance with BMW. . Edmunds.com is a good resource for current incentives.

Considering x5 40i, MSRP 80K. Dealer is offering about 7% off, but wants to mark up the APR by 1% (to 3.99) and says Loyalty is not available. Their position is that it is already under their invoice price.

Seems like room for improvement, right?

Assuming it is a MY24, you may be able to get a little more off. Hopefully they drop the markup and loyalty is available. If they say it is not then then probably are processing it and using it as part of the dealer discount.

Thanks for quick reply! I'll keep going on proper apr and loyalty.

For the price - what is your guess on their lowest price (in % off)?
On a similar note, are dealers more open to provide additional discounts on higher specced cars? I see another stock unit that is $2K more and has executive package - do not really need it, but thinking of a value add if they give more discount % on that option.

It obviously depends on your local market, the dealer and the timing. Not much more, maybe 8%. I wouldn't think there would be anymore discount on the higher spec'd one unless they are pushing to get rid of it.

Got it, thanks for your help! Hopefully end of the month timing will help too...

I live in the DFW area in Texas. Looking to purchase 2 highly optioned 2025 x5s i40s. Best discount so far is around 5% with only 500 incentive for loyalty (counting the new one I'm buying). I only want to pull the trigger if I can get 10 percent on both cars. How long will I have to wait (if ever?) to see a discount of this size?

I just ordered a X5 x-Drive 40i highly optioned, currently in production and expecting to take delivery in the next couple of weeks. I researched all around the DFW area. I was able to get two offers at 9% off MSRP on a MY 25. I ended up going with BMW of Tyler, but also BWM Houston West offered the same. Good luck!

I live in Maryland and there are 7 dealership within an hour drive of me. I ordered my MY25 and asked for -8%. They countered with -7% and I took it. Based on some of the others in this thread, maybe I didn't get the best deal but I was happy with the price and the dealership so I took it. If it would have been less than -6.25% I would have shopped the price around to other dealers in my area.

Welcome to their forum. We have not seen 10% regularly since before COVID so you likely have quite a wait on your hands. The G65 is coming out in August of 2026 so maybe you can get that discount in May or so of that year. ;)

That said of course, getting two at a time should increase your chances of a higher discount so keep looking.

Where did you order? I live in Maryland as well and I was able to get 8%.

Thank you for the information. I will definitely give the Tyler dealership a call. Don't mind driving a two hours to save thousands.
