I have a 2021 Xline and want to paint the rear diffuser to color match the bumper. Can the diffuser be removed fairly easily without having to remove the entire bumper? I also have the same question about the front bumper lip. I want to have it painted black, but don't know if the part can be removed without having to remove more (or all) of the front bumper trim. Any insight is much appreciated!

I just did the same mod but with black plasti dip a couple of months ago. I ended up just wrapping the car with painter's plastic sheet, painters tape and took a few hours on a weekend.

There are a couple of videos on Youtube and on here about how to take that silver aluminum ish piece but it's too much work IMO. Good luck!

Rear diffuser can be removed very easily. There are 8 screws under-side (8mm IIRC). Once those are removed the top and sides are connected by clips that can be undone using plastic pry tools.

The front part, I believe is a part of the bumper but I could be wrong. I had removed the rear diffuse and installed vinyl. The front I installed vinyl while on the car.

Hi, can you share photos of where the clips are on the rear diffuser? I've gotten the screws out of the bottom, but would like a clear pic or description of where the clips are.
