I am starting to consider the idea of picking up an IWC Porsche Design Titan from the early 80s. I've been doing some research and there are a few specific iterations I'd be looking for. What would you say are the best places / sites to use to find an older IWC?

Gray and Sons has a brick and mortar store in Florida and also does a large amount of online sales. They have been in business for years and have a great reputation!

Chrono24 has great selections. However, the prices seem higher than other places. I think because they charge sellers 6.5%. They also charge sale tax even with purchases from private sellers (which I think BS).

Precision Watches has just built a huge building on the corner of routes 309 and 63 in Lower Gwynedd Pa.

I have been considering selling my Heuer Autavia 2446M "Rindt" watch, which I bought new in 1965. So I think I will see what they have to say.

Another excellent source for pre-owned is Topper Jewelers located in Burlingame, California which is in the heart of Silicon Valley. They rate the condition and give you a very accurate description of any scratches, wear, etc. and a one year warranty on their pre-owned watches.

If you are in the market for a new watch and are in California you should visit them as they have a beautiful retail store with really professional and knowledgeable sales staff. They also do a tremendous amount of online sales and provide overnight, insured shipping. They are an official Omega Boutique and a Grand Seiko Salon. They also carry many other fine brands including Breitling, Zenith, Moser, Parmigiani Fleurier, Glashütte Original, Blancpain, Nomos, Longines, Bell & Ross, Zodiac, Oris and have some very expensive G-Shocks that I have never seen before.
