I have a 2022 M50i, but this translates. I custom built a cat back exhaust, with help from members here. Thousands less than Dahler or any other aftermarket system you can buy. It was under $800 installed by a performance exhaust shop (all parts & install in that price) and $250 of that cost was just for custom tips, which are totally optional. DM me for video (startup sound) and parts list.

Can also look at the IRL exhaust for the m60s

Sounds good! How's the drone in cabin?

The Dinan midpipe is a brilliant choice for the M60i opposed to a res delete. I'm not sold on the axleback as the tips stick out too far for my liking, but the setup sounds proper for this car. Not raspy, just a deep V8 rumble. I bet if you added secondary downpipes to your setup, it'd get even better.
Yea the tips at first I had them further out because for some reason I wanted to “show off” the Dinan logo lol. But then I pushed them in more. But now they are flushed in. You can put them as you one or not even use them. They are separate from the actual axle back but come with the set up. I wouldn’t do the mid pipe not just a “delete” on stock pipes it sounds bad and you get a bad drone.
Not much cabin noise is it’s my current set up but my exhaust valve are open until I install the new valve control.
I would highly recommend the Dinan mid and axle exhaust set up. It really release the V8 sound and a noticeable power difference

Hey Vstrong, my account is too new to DM you directly. Could you send me the details on the setup your shop did and the videos you mentioned?

Link to parts listed in comments. Exhaust shop didn't do anything special. Removed exhaust trim, custom bent all pipe, wired up the exhaust flaps so it wouldnt throw an error.

Can you please let me know if the Dinan Midpipe is a direct fitment for our car? No other modifications needed to get it on. I’d like to do the same minus the axle back.

I am trying to upload a sound clip but it is acting up. I will try again later. Have been off the app for sometime now but I saw I left some unanswered questions.

I used Dinan for Axle Back and Mid pipe. And yes I needed to order as if it was F95 “X5M”. If you look up G05 you instead of F95 you will not find anything. But it is the same S68 V8 and Chasis. Just about everything fits. Only added step was the rear exhaust “Difuser” on the G05 (Plastic and metal divider) needed to be removed. Just 2-3 bolts. The F95 exhaust is exposed from the bottom of the rear bumper as the G05 has some plastic design. The Project Gamma cold air intake is direct bolt on also. Only thing that is you need a custom bracket for the engine cover for a complete secure fitment.

Over all w/ JB4 the car sounds AMAZING and runs great. About 3.2 or 3.3 I believe on 0-60

I think our answer is right here. Not a direct confirmation but tells what he did.

I have the Yonristic on order. They are building it. Should be on my M60i by end of March.

$2399.20 delivered to my installer. I ended up going with Yonristic because they’ll use my factory controllers.

It’s a Cat Back install but will open up the throaty sound. I asked them to do vids while building it since my installer wants to do a whole vid on the install.

I’ll still use the 11 Mode valve controller on it so I can get that extra sound I’m after. My wife will still be annoyed by the standard sound but oh well.

This system is completely modded but can be taken back to 100% stock if needed.

Can’t wait.

Not bad. I’m curious how it will sound. Keep us posted!
