blackoutF15 wroteIt looks like the plastic that is coving where the headlight need to be removed which is just couple of clips. And the DRL is right underneath I believe.Do you know where is the DRL plug located? Considerable, but only without removing anything more than just the grill itself
blackoutF15 wroteMost likely it is the same as it has the same grill size and the same type of headlight.I got f95. Not sure it’s same access point
What does it look like in the daylight when off?
mikeygold wroteThey give you a splitter so it’s just plug and play. The grill light stays on even if the DRL is off. I bought this for 400 dollars after all the fees so it might be worth it to wait or look around for a better price. It looks great, would appreciate a link to the one you brought, so I’ll know it is a good fit. Also did you have to splice into the headlight cable or is it a piggy back plug?

Fun fact this actually stopped my car from being broken into at night. So it’s all worth it for me.
I'm intrigued to know how it stopped your X5 from being stolen, that's made it a worthwhile investment.
I was more wondering if when the car is completely off, do you see the white outline of the area that lights up and does it detract from the overall look?

Now I’m constantly driving towards windows that have a good reflection a bit too long to keep sneaking peaks.
Here are a few pics I posted in another thread.
