Detail: the van on the right features a Dutch license plate (yellow plate + black letters in the Dutch license plate font). If the picture is legit (in these days of improving AI, doctoring fake pics becomes easy-peasy), the van must have traveled all the way to Sardinia. And if the individual boarding the jet happens to be Toto Wolff, then he entered "the lion's den", carrying 'the nuclear football' with launch codes for the Mercedes 2026 F1 rocket.

The pictured private jet seems to be the PH-UTL ("UTL" = "Unleash The Lion") Verstappen jet indeed.

Also, the pictured person wears his watch on the right wrist. Wolff does indeed do that with his IWC watch.

Maybe Wolff simply asked Verstappen if he had a spare Pumpernickel to share while being in Sardinia ?

Guys, time for some hard talk.
RB21 with MAX is still arguably the second fastest car in his hands so why leave, getting Hadjar in as teammate over the holidays now to back up MAX is a priority as Yuki can't latch onto the 21.
The McLaren threat will distill in '26 together with their tyre cooling, the Merc's are all talk and eye blinking and Newey's Aston aero programme will be weighed down too much by heavy batteries so I'm all for MAX remaining with Red Bull in the now far more relaxed and no more power chasing RBR atmosphere now that Horner is gone.
Whether he does stay or leave, I'm equally enthused..Don't know why though

2027 will probably be the timeline whether it's on or not.

Is it me or do exec jets seem to be getting larger, they used to be half the size of those there, that lot are like mini airliners.
So with that logic they fly around the Med with Wolff showing the blue plans for the Merc engine to Max for say an hour then return to Sardinia to where their yachts are to share some Austrian and Belgian food. It's not impossible if it were true but stranger things have happened.
