lakefront wroteThe Vikes go to London and play Rodgers and the Jets in week 5. Bye week and then Detroit at home week 7. Agreed that lots more will be clear after that Detroit game. I don't know what to think. The Vikes could be 6 and 0, or 3 and 3 after the Detroit game.Yeah, if Love is back next Sunday should be an interesting game. I still think the Packers will get better as the year progresses, this new defense is not ready yet. But then Vikes play Detroit the week after....we should all learn a few things in the next couple weeks.

I think Cinderella turns into a pumpkin at noon on Sunday. The Vikings are fake.
What a shit show of a game last night.
tcphoto wroteThat dropped pass by Pitts helped me win my fantasy matchup this week. Also, the long pass Pitts caught earlier and was tackled right before the goal line. Handing off to Bijan for the TD netted me points. I was also screaming but for joy!I'm sure that people heard me scream during SNF, that dropped TD pass to Pitts would have won my $1250 parley.
vreihen16 wroteThat "Must Win" was the very least they could do.So, how 'bout those Cowboys last night?????
They now have a Gauntlet of difficult games.
Once they actually defeat good teams in convincing fashion, I will be encouraged.
mjr24 wroteI agree with your comments when looking at the 2nd half. The Packers were by far the better team in quarter 3 and 4. The first half was lopsided. 4 and 0 is great but I still don't know what to think about my Vikes. Feels like 2022 vibes. The Packers are going to be fine with Love back in the fold. Not ready for….Sam Darnold?

JMcLellan wroteYeah they took it to us in the first half for sure. The second half was the opposite. Neither team probably should feel too good about how they played…I agree with your comments when looking at the 2nd half. The Packers were by far the better team in quarter 3 and 4. GO COWBOYS!
Torgus wroteAs a lifelong Bills fan, watching the dumpster fire in Foxboro is worth watching. The patriots are trash. I can't even watch.
That being said, seeing them dead last in this week's power rankings and losing their starting center for the season due to a shoulder injury does make me feel just a bit sad for the New England fans.....
Torgus wroteLOL!!! Now I know you're pissed. The patriots are trash. I can't even watch.

Dallas had betteget Devante Adams immediately!
And to just think... Derrick Henry practically begged to be here. SMFH with Jerry's old, Senile ass.
TXSTYLE wroteim not overly concerned about the offense, and adding an older WR who will cost a decent amount in a trade, and then has cap hits of $44mill next season and the one after, is a poor plan.LOL!!! Now I know you're pissed.

Henry i am fine with not having as well. Is he an upgrade to our RB room? Yes. But up to yesterday, our RBs were towards the bottom of the league in yards before contact. Henry was averaging almost double the yards before contact our RBs were. Our problem isnt with the RBs, our problem is with the running scheme.
Looks like last night they went away from the zone run scheme they had been doing the first 4 weeks, and we had our best rushing game. Coincidence? Probably not. Hopefully McCarthy sticks to the new scheme.
I still think this team is a playoff team. Get the defense healthy so we arent trotting out practice squad CBs as CB2, get Parsons and DLaw healthy, and the team can win some games. Tolbert looks to be devoloping in to a solid WR, Turpin did well filling in for Cooks and Ferguson looks to be 100%. Just need to get Dak and CD back on the same page.

I disagree with not grabbing Adam's. 2 Star Wide outs will cause the opposing Defense to spread out big time. This will allow better Run opportunities. Not to mention the deep threat scoring.
Henry is looking like a huge loss for us as he is killing it! Remember when Zeke opened up the passing? Yeah, me too.
Yesterday was a nice to see, grind out Win.
TXSTYLE wroteHenry's killing it, but the Ravens have always been good at running the ball. After yesterday, looks like Henry dropped from 4.5 yards before contact to 3.9ybc.I agree with the Run Scheme for certain!

For comparison, Dowdle went from 2.4ybc to 2.9ybc yesterday. Getting better, but that Henry number is pretty significant.
While yes, Adams would be nice, his cap numbers make it near impossible to keep him past this season. And 1 WR isnt going to make this team a sure fire Superbowl winner. Youre gonna end up spending a 1st or 2nd for 12 games. When we need all the picks we can get to rebuild the roster for cheap next season.
But in all seriousness I am cautiously optimistic about my Vikes team. Last time they were 5 and 0 (2016) they missed the playoffs. I'm scared that Darnold is going to regress to his mean, and if Aaron Jones isn't playing our offense just isn't the same. I should just lean in and enjoy the ride but I just don't trust them yet.
JMcLellan wroteCome on, we are more than half way to .500 and wildcard contention.Apologies to any Jets or Aaron Rodgers fans. The Vikes made A Rodg look like he wants to retire. Then I just saw the Jets fired their head coach.
