FrankMstein wroteIt was confirmed that a video of alleged drones hovering above his house taken by a nameless former high-ranking politician was actually a star constellation. Bet he felt like a big dipper when they told him.I'm sure these have always been there and some rube is mistaking planes and copters (and some brainless twits...planets) and more people are seeing what they want to see.

About 3/4 of the videos that I've seen on the news are obviously airplanes, including passenger jets at 30+K feet after sunset emitting obvious contrails. I would write off few of the others as Starlink satellite "trains" orbiting overhead after sunset, but don't have time or direction references in the videos to back that up.
It's not coincidence that we are undergoing the longest nights of the year in the northern hemisphere this week, which means that people are going outside in the dark more and seeing things that they never paid attention to before because of the drone hype.....
There's either something untoward occurring or they belong to our military doing exercises, etc. Otherwise, they would not only tell us what's going on but would be doing something about it.
Personally, I would love it if they were aliens. There's enough division and strife in the world and finding out for sure that other intelligent life is not only out there but here, could create an atmosphere of world unity. Then again, people could lose their minds and chaos ensues
ASAP wroteExactly, they shut down Wright-Patt SFP - which is a highly secure area and airspace, because of these drones.the govt is just spinning and spinning this further... now the stance is well these are just hobby drones and law enforcement drones lol... so suddenly there is more than ever and they are allowed to go into restricted airspace lol? the incompetence shown by all forms of govt here is simply another level
vreihen16 wroteYep.I think that the hysteria is making people go outside after dark and look up for the first time. Add on the desire to "go viral" for posting a video of anything that moves with light on it for the social media attention, and the result is lots of airplane videos.....
And reports are increasing of pilots being painted with a laser by I guess civilians trying to interfere with "drones".
M5Rick wroteIt is one thing to use deadly force against a human trespassing into a secure area.I would think with the 'deadly force' warning signs at the perimeter any unknown drone would be shot out of the sky in a jiffy probably by a hidden minigun or alternatively captured with a commanding ray knowing of the advanced tech they have there.
No barrage of bullets necessary to neutralize the "threat".
But blasting away with a mini gun at air borne drones means hundreds if not thousands of spent bullets raining down. In this case the cure could be worse than the disease...
And mini gun systems rely upon radar for targeting. Have to wonder what kind of radar image reflection these drones would have.
I feel like those with hobby drones may be taking this opportunity to fly in restricted areas since there is so much going on with this. If there a numerous objects zooming around, what's one more?
I have yet to see video of one of these "drones" that exhibit flight characteristics that are outside of our known current technological capabilities. That said, I haven't watched a ton of these videos.
Snave01 wroteTrump said the military should know what’s going on with these drone sightings but isn’t telling us. If these things were just regular drones, whether they’re foreign or ours, we’ve got the tech to track them, no question. The fact they’re staying quiet just makes it more suspicious. Are they hiding some secret military stuff, foreign tech, or is this actually something we can’t explain? The claim that our military/gov't doesn't know what these are is BS unless they are truly alien. If they are a terrestrial based drone of any kind, not only will they appear on radar and similar, they can intercept the radio signals controlling them and determine the origin. We have satellites that can read the date on a quarter laying on the sidewalk so I'm pretty sure we can zero in on these things and follow them if nothing else.

RockCrusher wroteWhat if it's an unknown drone that suddenly appears, the exclusion zone extends upwards and it's unlikely anyone would be affected by falling mini gun lead in the barren Nevada desert. It is one thing to use deadly force against a human trespassing into a secure area.

M5Rick wroteThe residents of Rachel, Nevada would probably have a different opinion....and it's unlikely anyone would be affected by falling mini gun lead in the barren Nevada desert.
Speaking of Rachel, go look it up on Google Maps and then drag the yellow stick man from the bottom left onto the map to select street view. Someone at Google has a sense of humor, because the stick man turns into a flying saucer as you drag it over the map in that area!!!!!

For those who know anything whatsoever about flying, here's the sectional chart for your amusement showing Linden Airport/LDJ (GA) and how it's located under the final for Newark/EWR, with the close proximity to NYC's heliports, LaGuardia/LGA, and Kennedy/JFK. Teterboro/TEB is to the north:
vreihen16 wroteLike I said above. Also people like to fly these things near airports for some reason...I was watching the evening NYC TV news talking heads, and they were reporting a large number of drone sightings in Linden, NJ last night. Knowing that area well, I hurt my ribs laughing!

///MPhatic wroteCereal killers!! Noooo, don't kill my Honey Nut Loops:lol:Humans, and the way they do things, could actually be something special in the universe, requiring intervention only when close to nuclear (or some other) annihilation.
It's a hard concept to grasp for many, but cereal killers and bombers are just as important to the growth of the world and humanity as doctors and scientists. If there are advanced beings beyond our planet, I have to believe that it's not just their technology that's advance, but their salient way of looking at things.

If the wind blows the wrong way with the falling mini lead then someone in Rachel will be saying ''Hank, those pesky vultures are on the tin roof again' !!
M5Rick wroteNot sure what the procedure is on some military or other sensitive sight that the air space above it is off limits. What if it's an unknown drone that suddenly appears, the exclusion zone extends upwards and it's unlikely anyone would be affected by falling mini gun lead in the barren Nevada desert.
Some of those locations are out in the middle of no where. But others have people living too close to start blasting away with mini guns.
I'm thinking of for instance Knob Noster MO with Whiteman Airforce Base where (at least used to be and still are I think) B1s were stationed. When I visited that base military personal and their families were living on base.

RockCrusher wroteIran likely used stealth tech to down a US drone intact years back I read so a bogie drone I'm sure could be taken down in the same way if the mini-gun option is just too risky. Not sure what the procedure is on some military or other sensitive sight that the air space above it is off limits.
