I’m new here and recently picked up a base model 2023 BMW X5 40i. My X5 came with the factory running boards, but I’d prefer the cleaner look of the base model rocker panels instead. I’ve seen a few people swap them out, but I couldn’t find a clear guide on the process.
Has anyone here done this swap? Are there any specific steps or challenges I should be aware of? Also, does anyone know the correct part number for the base model rocker panels?
