I have had carbon on everything, but decided to go gloss black splitter on my X5 for a change. That's lasted a couple of weeks and now I have a full M Performance carbon kit due to arrive this week.
Burnsey wrote😂😂 that is my fear. I thought I was all in on carbon. Saw my buddies m4 cs with gloss black accents on limerock grey and really liked it and now im leaning back towards carbon. It genuinely is a matter of taste.

Where did you get the MP kit from?
NachoLibre11 wroteI should say, I had carbon (always OEM) on a mineral white F80, singapore grey F90 and dravit grey G80.😂😂 that is my fear. I thought I was all in on carbon. Saw my buddies m4 cs with gloss black accents on limerock grey and really liked it and now im leaning back towards carbon.

When I collected the X5, a lot of the reason I wanted to try the gloss black was firstly the base colour - sapphire black, which sometimes carbon gets lost on, but also the sheer cost, so went for a non OEM gloss black splitter, as pictured.
Nothing wrong with it (fit and finish is nowhere near close to OEM) but the carbon called out to me
and I simply hunted down the best deal I could from the dealer. It's OEM all the way for me.Front splitter, front vents, side vents, mirror caps, rear diffuser and winglets all on the way. I'm undecided on the front vents, but getting them anyway and I may add the rear spoiler later, noting the M Performance one is gloss black. Could go the whole hog, with front grill surrounds and shark fin, but these parts are in production, so will get this lot on and see what I think.

Off to the dealer I go to find some OEM carbon parts. I promised the wife I’d delay purchasing another BMW for at least a year so I think this is a good compromise haha.
NachoLibre11 wroteJust tell her there was a fault and they gave you a different car. Works for me!Gorgeous looking ride!

NachoLibre11 wroteboth are great options, I also have arctic grey 2022 with gloss black kit and its great, I had my share of cf on my X5M but it was blue so totally different color palette.Looking to put front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and m performance rear roof spoiler on an arctic grey ‘22 X5 M50i. Who’s in the carbon fiber camp and who’s in the gloss black camp? I’ll probably end going with the AG matched roof spoiler.
I do have a cf hood on my car now but you won't see it unless you open it, as its painted body color.
just a word of caution, ones you go carbon you will want everything carbon, ask me how I know

p.s. M Performance rear spoiler only comes in gloss black as far as I know (I also have it on my car)

itshere wroteI actually traded in the m50i for a dravit X5M with Silverstone interior. Will be putting the Adro front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser on once the weather gets a little nicer. What did you end up going with? Pictures?
