Let's see what the bookies say...yep, McLaren.
hmm ... Kimi could pay well ... decent driver decent car ... unlikely but of the 6 digit drivers he'd have the best chance

You are right, it’s been a long time since they have won the WDC. I’m not one to switch teams because mine is not doing well.

Seems most people on here are Max fans not Red Bull fans. I guess there will be a lot of RB gear thrown away if he moves to a different team😩

The RB21 should do well at Silverstone it being a high speed track but if Max doesn’t I’m sure all you Max fans will have some kind of excuse.
I'm not a fan of anyone, but I like hard and fair racing. may the best car-driver win this weekend before all go into withdrawal for a month. (unless ... contracts ...)

of note, last week's DOTD Bortoleto P8-P8, meanwhile Hulkenberg P20-P9 missed out!

It could be Yoovidhya is raging more at this than with anything else and is likely calling for Lambiase's head.
well if RB sack GP, mutiny on Horner, gets Max stolen by Merc / Stroll, RB will have Yuki and Liam fighting for P19

they should be careful how they manage their staff and drivers

Still haven't heard from GP 'why' he told MAX unless Horner/Hanna told him to hence told him to keep quiet ha but it looks to me it was decided by GP very quickly and erroneously too soon after the RUS shove.

I don't need to know why. They make a thousand calls on wing angle, tyre pressure, who's coming on a hot lap, how many seconds to burn out, and he made one bad call on the fly after 10 years. Hannah has probably made more bad calls than him. If RB sacked him and he goes to Ferrari to help Lewis, that could be a win for F1 as a whole.

The stand in though, was pretty good! sounds like max and him work better together!

no idea why, it could be anything from sickness eg self or family member to the stuff you've written, or anything in between.

but if RB sacks him and another team hires him it's RB's loss. he's one of the best communicators. RB without Max is like a batman movie with no batman. RB without GP is like a batman and robin movie with no robin. granted, I actually thought the replacement was as good if not better. so batman and another robin.
It's just that he had a 100% streak since 2016. Over 200 GPs and Sprint races: always present. Nowhere is specified more than "private circumstances": happy event - unfortunate event - something medical - family event - Red Bull big boss talks ?

And it was at Spielberg , Red Bull's home race , which made the situation even worse.

I think it has to do with the Horner war and the tension is nerve wrecking.

And where is the media on Tsunoda? Now that they've been proven so incredibly wrong about Checo, have they finally learned a lesson and decided to just shut up about it?
Looking back Checo’s biggest problem may have been that he used to be so much more reliably a #2 driver - when the #2 driver just seems to lose performance over time while the #1 driver keeps winning, whose first reaction is “oh, it’s definitely the car”?

To his boss...:bulge: Then he's gone :happyanim:
There was always something about him I didn't like, like his swarmy tone.

We must remember that Horner is the boss of the outfit and no one is perfect, and 'stuff happens' beyond his control. Just look at tv freak Alan Sugar who is a raving joke with his '''you're fired'' quips.
The Larens look squeaky clean right now, all neatly in place with Stella careful what he says but could you say that about them at the time of spy gate..

Checo is currently in talks to drive for Cadillac, though nothing is confirmed at this stage.

Max and Kimi pairing will be great. Max to win 3 to 4 more WDCs there and then pass the torch to Kimi as Kimi learns from the best.
or, the most proven repeatable experiment in history, Max destroys Kimi's career and Kimi goes back to finish high school ... :confused2

That was a very good one.

Loved the F1 movie reference to Carlos at the start. No spoilers if you haven’t seen it. First thing I thought.
