Hello guys.
I have my 2021 X6 G06 with Tartufo Merino individual interior. The rear of the seats is the standard black and i would like to know if the rear parts of the X7 seats (which are identical) that feature tartufo colour and leather for the magazine holders can be installed on my seats.
If so, what are the part numbers?
Thanks

Can you help me ?

Actually now that I think about it, the part numbers won’t be the same since the ones from the 7 are color matched and appear to be finished in leather.

I would love to install the tartufo matching rear part of the seat in my x6. Anyway we can find it online?

I got confirmation from a BMW dealer that this is the correct part number for tartufo leather chair backs but this is the description - Multi-contour seat, without ventilated & massage, lower, tartufo. We need to check closer if there are variances depending if your car was optioned with ventilated seats and/or massage seats. Also we need to confirm that the X7 and X5 seats are identical! Since these parts would be for a retrofit, they are not returnable! MSRP is $482 each, realbmwparts.com list price is $394.76 each. With taxes and shipping this is probably a $1000 mod, but I think it adds alot of luxury to the interior. I will do it eventually if all checks out.

No one is looking at the back of your seats. You’ll forget it about it soon. Spend the money on something more worthwhile.

For what it's worth, Realoem shows those part numbers for my VIN and my X7 has full Merino Tartufo, with massage and ventilation.

The Realoem page also shows no alternatives depending on other options for lower back, unlike the upper back which has multiple variants.

I disagree. This adds alot to the intererior. That is the beauty of modding; we each do what is important to us and our tastes. I tore down the whole interior of my M3 just to install the Fox Red extended leather dash. Some don’t even notice the difference, but for me it was worth the money, time and effort.

Makes the interior next level luxury believe me...
The optional lower dash in full tartufo leather along with this is mind blowing in terms of luxury

Based on jkarppa's user avatarjkarppa post above, it looks like there is just a single part number (variant) of this part, so this should be it. Asking BMW won’t get you anywhere because they don’t “endorse” retrofits to other makes and models. That is at your own risk.

Did you ever do this?

I am still planning on doing it, but haven’t yet.
