Some don’t even notice the difference, but for me it was worth the money, time and effort.No one is looking at the back of your seats. You’ll forget it about it soon. Spend the money on something more worthwhile.

bake wroteI need the same part but for seats WITH ventilation AND MASSAGEI got confirmation from a BMW dealer that this is the correct part number for tartufo leather chair backs but this is the description - Multi-contour seat, without ventilated & massage, lower, tartufo. We need to check closer if there are variances depending if your car was optioned with ventilated seats and/or massage seats. Also we need to confirm that the X7 and X5 seats are identical! Since these parts would be for a retrofit, they are not returnable! MSRP is $482 each, realbmwparts.com list price is $394.76 each. With taxes and shipping this is probably a $1000 mod, but I think it adds alot of luxury to the interior. I will do it eventually if all checks out.

jkarppa post above, it looks like there is just a single part number (variant) of this part, so this should be it. Asking BMW won’t get you anywhere because they don’t “endorse” retrofits to other makes and models. That is at your own risk.
