Workshop mode for rear brake disk & pad replacement

Anyone used Bimmerlink to activate Workshop mode for rear brake disk & pad replacement? Today replaced all disks and pads but tried to activate Workshop mode using Bimmerlink but didn't work. Then used ISTA it worked smoothly.... Any idea?

If I recall correctly, there were some prerequisites that need to be met which I think the app calls out.
