Looking for any type of instructions or feed back pertaining to the repair /diy of the electric luggage cargo cover on a 2020 x5 . A spring clip/ feel out of the left side of the track the other day and I’m trying to somehow put it back . With the clip missing the cover doesn’t properly go in and out of the deck storage compartment.

So after investigating the situation further I was able to see that the metal retaining spring actually sits in the guide that holds the rod that moves the cargo cover back and forth when either button is pressed or when the trunk lid is either opened or closed . Without the retaining spring there is no pressure for the plastic guide to hold the cargo cover rod in place. Still trying to figure out how to place the retaining spring on the plastic guide . The pictures are from the passenger side guide. The driver side guide is the one I’m having an issue with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
