ScottieDo wroteLooking great and glad everything is working again. I see that you have Hankook tires (I assume from the factory). Are they run flats?Congrats, hope you have a great delivery experience today!
Great news this morning! Buttons are working again. I was pretty bummed last night, especially when I got in the car at night to see the driver door panel completely bricked, no lights on at all. Like magic, they are working again today. I think there was just too much moisture in there and it dried out overnight.
Here are a couple [crappy] quick pics I just took. I did 15% on the fronts, and 80% on sides and rear. Also PPF'd front a rear reflectors with gloss black and de-baged it. Decided I'm also going to hit the grey strip on the bumper with black ppf when I get it ceramic coated next week. Tuxmats also arrived last night, I like the quality, we'll see how they fit today.
Good way to start the weekend, really did not want to rearrange my week to get to the service department!

salmonberg wroteNo warning light or error codes at all. Wasn't working for like 18 hours, then back on again. No ideal, but just going to forget about it and if it happens again, I'll bring it in.Did it throw a warning at all?
rambalu80 wroteThanks, appreciate it. Yea these are the summer run flats from the factory. I just ordered Michelin PSAS4s from Tire Rack. I debated a winter set, but decided against the hassle of storing them, swapping them, all that.Looking great and glad everything is working again. Also while i love this drivetrain and the suspension does feel great, there is more of a harshness on bumps than on my 45e. That one had 20s with the Pirelli run flats. So it'll be interesting to see how these 21s feel with the new tires.

We also do a lot of road trips so comfort is that much more important. Really wish BMW offered the B&W on the 40i, shame they stopped.
SeekTheFinest wroteI'm impressed with them. They cover a ton of area that the OEM and Weathertech don't. I had the OEM liners on the last x5 and I really liked them. Maybe I prefer that rubbery material a touch more. But I like the tuxmat material a lot too, and they fit against the panels really well. And the back seat coverage isn't even comparable to others, tuxmat covers everything. How do you like the fit of the Tuxmats. Would love to see some pics...
xdsm06 wroteI def would've checked the box for the B&W if it was avail. The HK system in our 2025 X5 is not the worst I've heard but darn close. When buying a vehicle like this I like to have the bells and whistles. ScottieDo wroteThat is some great coverage. The BMW liners don't have near that coverage. If I lived in a snowy salty climate I'd have those.I'm impressed with them. So far here is what I've done. They ran out of gloss black ppf so I'll have to go back to do the grey strip on the rear bumper. Thinking I'll also do the air 80 tint on the front windshield. I've never tinted the windshield before so I'm a little hesitant, but even if fall I keep getting blasted by the sun, so I think its the move.
-Gloss black ppf on front and rear reflectors
-Ceramic coating
-15% front windows, 80% on rear
-Remove badging
-Tuxmat floormats
-OEM rubber mat in back [pulled it out of my old 45e cause tuxmat rear is on backorder]
-Michelin AS tires on order
So just a few small cosmetic mods that I'm loving.
Post up some pics. Looking forward to hearing any feedback on the color. These are the wheels I'll be putting on mine. I currently have these on our 2025 but will swap them to the red one. This link shows them on the Melbourne Red configurator. https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-own.html#/studio/fq92c1a2/summary
2025G0540i wroteThose wheels will look good. I went with the 21s as the roads here in Western WA aren't the best but I don't like how the 20s look on the vehicle. So 21s were the compromise. I will have to swap out the tires for all seasons at some point.Getting close @xdsm06

Vehicle is still sitting at the Renton VPC. My SA said the estimated delivery date to the dealership is Oct 30th. If that holds true then I should be picking it up this coming Saturday.

Yours should be much quicker than mine.
xdsm06 wroteI gave the order on Sept 15 and I should take delivery the first week of February if all goes as planned. So just under 5 months. 7+ months for yours is a long time. It'll be worth the wait.It has been a lesson in patience that's for sure

xdsm06 wroteNice! Not sure you could've built it any better. The Tartufo goes perfect w the red. Is your trim the Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish Wood? Any mods planned?Took delivery on Sat. Melbourne red is a beautiful color. With the air suspension the X5 rides very comfortably over the bumpy rough roads up here in the PNW.

I went with the fineline open pore wood. Only things I plan to do are tint the front windows and add a spare tire subwoofer. The HK system is severely lacking low end, especially compared to the Bang and Olufsen system my Audi had.
xdsm06 wroteHaven't seen that trim in person but looks like it all ties together nicely. Are you able to run the Summer tires all year in the PNW?Thanks! You will like the Melbourne Red, it looks fantastic.

2025G0540i wroteMostly yes but it is not ideal. There's certainly times where it is too dangerous to drive with summers. Luckily we have a secondary vehicle. But I do plan to change out the summers for all seasons once the summers wear out more. Michelin just released the Pilot Sport All Seasons in the tire sizes used on the staggered 21s.Haven't seen that trim in person but looks like it all ties together nicely.
