So what are your predictions?

After Baku Max Verstappen certainly gave a lot of hope to a lot of fans, which only multiplied by his rookie GT3 win on the Nordschleife last weekend.
But will the RB car also be fast on the very twisty, high downforce, high tyrewear Marina Bay Singapore street circuit?
In past races this was classic McLaren territory.
I think RB certainly gained time on McLaren in the last few months, but I think not enough to beat McLaren in Singapore.

This is my prediction:

1. NOR
2. PIA
3. VER
4. RUS
5. LEC
6. HAM
7. HAD
8. ANT
9. TSU
10. HULK

For people who don't place predictions: please refrain from giving negative comments after the race on predictions other members have given. Nobody makes perfect predictions, and if you don't make predictions yourself, you're not showing you know better.

3. RUS
4. TSU

8. PIA, or DNF again if on a downer
9. HAM with Ferrari things
10. ALO

I believe lightning can strike twice.

I still believe in the RB21 MAX upgrade like in Monza and Baku . I think it's a huge improvement for at every track.

Oscar
Lando
Charles
George
The Hulk

Max DNF due to him concentrating on which GT3 race to enter next.

Don’t hate Max.

I think he’s the best driver currently but I am hoping Oscar wins.

And Returning all the wishes for PIA to DNF.

That's really funny...

MAX is the 4-time in a row 2021-2022-2023-2024 F1 World Champion (!)
And in between he nailed the Nürburgring aka. Green Hell race in a Ferrari 296 GT3 (!)

To refresh some memories :
To refresh your memory.

Vettel: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013. Four, same as Max.

Prost: 1985, 1986, 1989, 1993. Four also.

Fangio: 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957.

Hamilton: 2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. Seven, three more than Max.

Schumacher: 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004. Seven total and five in a row.

If your metric is how many Max has won then he is tied fourth best all time.

I think Senna would have surpassed all the above if not for his tragic death.

We were there three years ago.

I remember the start of the race being delayed by a couple of hours due to a storm and then nodding off during the race.

It's such a picturesque city at night.

C'mon Aussie!!!!

I predict the RB21 will struggle on the Marina Bay circuit (but am happy to be proven wrong). If McLaren can keep it clean they will dominate. But I am also expecting curve balls from Sainz, Leclerc, and Russell, especially during qualifying. They could snatch pole if they can get the setup right and nail their Q3 lap.

I'm in Singapore and should be at the race. Staying in the same hotel as MB.

BTW - I highly doubt a single other F1 driver right now would be able to jump into a GT3 car and absolutely obliterate the competition the way Max did. Funny how Max can win with a Ferrari before either Ferrari driver can this year, but who are we kidding, Max would have taken the SF25 to a GP win on at least one occassion.

I also don't think WDCs = greatness. Schumacher with 7 was great, but I would say Senna was almost as good as we all know what occurred there. Hamilton, his 7 were weak and during a time when F1 was not competitive and only 1 car stood out. Those 6 he 'won' with MB are the weakest in history. Vettel...good driver but overrated IMO. Max's 4 IMO are close to Schumacher's 7. He took down MB in a slower car, and in 2024 won when Mclaren had a faster car for 80% of the season. 2022, overcame a massive deficit to Lec due to RB reliability. 2023 - this, along with his 2022 season and Sch's 1994 are the 3 greatest driver seasons ever witnessed in F1 with setting records even a majorly dominant Mclaren cannot. Also 2022 and 2023 were cars that while Max made look easy because of his alien ability, were not cars that were dominant, but Max achieving dominance due to his ability. In history, Sch, Max, Senna, Fangio, Clark, Prost, Piquet, are probably the true top 7. Maybe then you can add Ham and Vet but no way are they anything but bottom of the top 10 ranking.

^ Juan Manuel Fangio was kidnapped before a GP race and taken hostage by Cuban revolutionaries in the late fifties.
