Can’t tell if it is related to anything like an OTA update, key in use (we keep them separate so this was on my key), etc.
Some day when I’m bored I’ll set it up again, maybe. PITA.
2000cs wroteMy settings on my own profile and guest profile are also gone after activating valet mode. I had to resetup again. My wife had the X5 out of town the last two weeks. I got in it today to run some errands and it had forgotten my profile. Still had the phone paired, but no memories of seat position, etc. Her profile is intact.

martian_soldier wroteI just checked on my car, there is no option to export the profile settings while i have a usb drive plugged in. The only option is to sync the BMW ID profile. On my 2016 F30 340i, I can export saved profiles to a USB drive or stick and import it back to the car or another F30. Does anytime know if the G05 has a similar feature that might help export and save profiles?
martian_soldier wroteprofile is saved to the cloud, that's the whole point of the BMW ID and myBMW app. Putting your profile on another vehicle (e.g., loaner) pulls the info from the cloud save and puts it on the car.On my 2016 F30 340i, I can export saved profiles to a USB drive or stick and import it back to the car or another F30. calbears wroteBut the problem was when i tried to sign in to my profiles settings, it failed to load the settings. After that it seemed the profile was overwritten with the current settings and the worst was it was valet mode. The only setting i could salvage was the last seat and mirror position. Other things like ambient light, brightness, hud position, driving assistance, climate, comfort access went back to factory settings.profile is saved to the cloud, that's the whole point of the BMW ID and myBMW app. Putting your profile on another vehicle (e.g., loaner) pulls the info from the cloud save and puts it on the car.
Fast forward a few months and I had another opportunity to drop the car off with a valet. It wiped all the settings again. Worst thing is it doesn't just wipe my settings. It wipes my wife's settings too.
Anyone else have this and was able to recreate the scenario? My dealer thought I was crazy (and probably still thinks I am).
