Looking to install a dashcam in the rear of my G05 X5 and want to avoid fishing the cable through the rubber grommets, if I can avoid it. I popped one of the plastic covers off the lid and saw there are two electrical boxes and a bunch of wires for rear window heating, AM/FM antenna, spoiler light and god knows what else.
Does anyone know if it's possible to tap into any of these boxes using something like the rain sensor kit from Dongar that I've used for the front dashcam? It'll need to receive power when the car is running.
