Hi all

I recently installed the draw-tite hitch on my 2019 G05, and I installed the trailer module and OEM wiring harness since my car had the 8SL pre wire option. Everything is fully functional and I was able to do the coding in e-sys, however my only issue is I’m not sure what to do with the pollak. Surely I’m missing something since this is the OEM pollak and it has clips to connect into something, which I dont have. Curious what anyone else may have done with a draw-tite hitch. Pic attached of my temporary setup. https://imgur.com/a/PGprJme

You need the Pollack mounting bracket. The OEM has the bracket behind the valance panel. Here's a link to etrailer.com for the bracket you need. Depending on your receiver mount, you may need to make a bracket out of angle or strap iron to support the bracket where you want it. It's best to have the Pollack at least 6-8" away from the receiver to keep the cables away from the safety chains.

I have the same setup and fabricated a simple L-bracket that bolts to the side of the hitch (Drilling onto the hitch sucks, but with patience it worked out) and to a mount that fits the Pollak perfectly.

Here's the link for the mount online: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FPPWVTGX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
