Did anyone order the mid-price "Dravit Grey Metallic"? I was going to order "Skyscraper Grey Metallic" but once I've seen Dravit I can't seem to "unsee it"!

Does anyone know if its harder to repair or is it just a normal paint they shake up and spray. Does anyone have it and what do you think?

It looks similar shade to the Mineral Grey Metallic I got on my 2014 BMW 328d, which I really loved over 90,000 miles but it does show winter road salt pretty bad.

Back then there was a "Space Grey" offered on the 5-series which looked sharp and doesn't show the dust... it reminds me of the new "Skyscraper Grey Metallic". I was going to get this until I saw "Manhattan Green Metallic" which is really interesting. Then I saw the "Dravit".

Sorry... for rambling but interested in what others think about these colors...

I stared at various colors for months on YT and I had Dravit as my #1, Grigio Telesto & Malachite Green II as my #2a/b, Manhattan Green #3, and Skyscraper #4. Since I had picked Carbon Black on my X3 M40i I later regretted not sticking with my original & gut Brooklyn Grey. This time around I wanted the color I wanted and was willing to pay the cost. Since Dravit & Grigio are very similar just different color flake and if I did Malachite would be $4-5k extra, I went with Dravit as I knew I could live with that choose.
Between the 3 colors you have above, Dravit is going to give you multiple different colors more than the other two depending on the sunlight, cloudy, day/night. I love coming out to my X5 and seeing a different shade of the grey. There are several YT videos that can show you the different shades. If you go watch as many as you can, you'll see how it changes whether on dimly lit showroom, out in the bright sun, well lit showrooms, at night with little light, or at night parked underneath a street light. You'll literally get a different shade of grey in all these conditions.

Dravit is like 4-in-1 color. Absolutely love it. Didn't consider anything about it other than the looks.

What I can tell you is the Skyscrapper grey in person was so bland and did almost nothing for the car. I was really surprised at just how bland it looked. The Dravit was 100's better and I thought looked real sharp. So much better then the skyscrapper. Obviously colors are very subjective but that was my thoughts at the dealership when I first saw them. Also, I thought I was going to hate the carbon black, but it was my #2 color after I actually saw it in person.

Yes we went to the lot on a Sunday to look at colors in person. SG was on the list but when we looked at it it seemed very blah. We ended up with BG and have no regrets.

In laws have Manhattan Green and it looks really nice in person. It never looks dirty to me and it lives outside vs a garage. I just don't know how often he's washing it if that's why it always looks nice haha.

I agree and I have SSG. I was dead set on BG but that was sight unseen. When I saw BG on an overcast day I decided it wasn't for me. I really love SSG, most of the time. The wheel style, size and color also makes a personal difference.

For example Brooklyn G looks great on my 540i but it's just too much for the X5 so I went with SSG on the X5. BMW offers some great blues but they look best on sedans, verts and coupes IMO. Dravit is THE best BMW grey on any vehicle in the lineup.

Definitely subjective. There's some unique metallics that can change with different lighting. There's a lot of really cool colors to choose from to satisfy a wide array of different tastes. When I saw Donnington Grey in person on an X5M that was the color I wanted when I decided to buy the X5 last year. Unfortunately it was no longer offered.
