Femto opened up their US operations in Miami.

You can now ship your ECU’s there for a quick turnaround instead of overseas.

Anyone more inclined to get their ECU’s unlocked for BM3 / MHD tuning now?

I’m considering it now for my M50i, was thinking about the Carbahn Stage 1 controller initially, but this option makes it more appealing.

400 to unlock each ECU.

I'll be doing it once BM3 releases the tune for the s68.

Unfortunately DME9 which is what the m60i has is still 1500 per ECU and limited to certain shops.

with differential and transfer case issues, does it not scare anyone that throwing more power at this platform is a speed run to go boom?

with a proper tune balancing the torque, should be okay.

Tuning the transmission might be a better option look at xHP

Also curious about this. Maybe more strain and wear on the diff and TC after tuning, torque pulls, etc would have negative effect.

Its all relative... the phrase "pay to play" comes to mind. For some these cars put out plenty of power for others they're slow and lacking in many ways. The reality is once we add any power to them be it a piggy back or flash tune the drivetrain warranty is null and void.

As far as the drivetrain being able to take the abuse, nothing lasts forever and some parts will break... can't have it both ways, right? When power goes up longevity/reliability typically goes down after a point.

Shipped the DME’s out Monday afternoon and got them back Wednesday morning 👍🏼
