I have a 2025 BMW X5 xDrive 40i, which I changed from a 2022 BMW 530D.
I live in Sydney and on the old iDrive, my map would always say what suburb I was in, now on the new iDrive 9, the map just always says "Sydney", and not the actual suburb I'm in.
BMW told me that this is just how their new map software works and there's no way to fix it.... pretty annoying in a 150 thousand dollar brand new car.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
