Hi everyone — I’m planning to run 22" wheels front and rear on my X5M.

From what I understand, the G05 X5 lineup (40i/50i/M60i, etc.) shares the same general wheel/tire fitment “family,” and X5M wheels can fit the regular G05 models too I heard bolt pattern is different but talking about dimension, size, width (assuming the correct offsets/clearances).

My dilemma is tire availability, so I’m considering a few setups:

Option 1 (more common / OEM-style sizing):

275/35/22 front + 315/30/22 rear
But on a 22x10.5 front, the 275 seems like it’ll look pretty stretched.

Option 2 (taller “X7-style” sizing with better tire selection):

285/40/22 front + 325/35/22 rear
I like that there are more tire choices, but I’m not sure if this will rub, especially if the car is lowered (and I know offset plays a big role here).
Has anyone with a lowered X5/X5M run something like this?

Option 3 (near-square / wider front):

305/35/22 front + 315/35/22 rear
Same concern here — I don’t know if the front can handle a 305 without contacting suspension components or rubbing under compression/turning.

If you’ve gone through a similar situation or you’re currently running any of these setups (especially lowered), I’d really appreciate it if you could share your specs (wheel widths, offsets, tire sizes) and whether you had any rubbing.

Thank you!
