With gas prices soaring, do you have another fuel efficient car in the garage?

Just curious, still smile miles for me but the new electric m3 is looking tempting.

You are in Honolulu? are you sure $/mile is lower with EV??

Also maybe track how much you spend in a year on gas, and see in absolute sense, how much saving it is in $ amount.

My F150 hybrid:)

Average about 21 in the X5.. Getting 22 mpg in the F150.

I do not have a gas conscious 2nd car, as a matter of fact, completely the opposite: 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT... 475 HP, V8.. :)

Yes I do. An X4M. That gets 19-21mpgs on a good day for us. 12-13 for the X5M (staying with a good day theme) and 17-19 for the M2C.

I get that it sucks to see gas prices climbing, and nobody likes feeling like they are paying more than they should, but I do feel like a gas BMW is not the car to buy if gas prices will stress you out. There are so many efficient options for cars these days, this car, at least for me, is 100% because I love driving it and the gas is the cost of that fun. Just my 2 cents.

I had 2023 330e before, 69mpg and very fun, drove 1-1.2k miles a month with 2 full tanks and constant charging my 21miles baterry haha

I kept my 2008 Toyota Corolla S and it gets 40mpg. Thing has about 102,000 miles so it's still got a lot of life :D

Wife’s car is a 2023 Lexus GX460. Full time 4WD V8.

My X5 xDrive 40i IS my economy car!

My second vehicle is my work supplied ute(Mazda BT50), which helps out immensely, however diesel, is currently sitting at around $3.29AUD PER LITER at the moment, so I'm glad I'm not paying for that bill!!!

I have a Corolla XSE that I daily, but you really can't worry about gas prices with these cars. X5M was my daily for a little over a year, best daily ever.

Only reason I got the corolla is for peace of mind. Driving through and parking in sketchy areas of Houston for work wasn't something I wanted to take a chance on.

Besides our X6M, we have a X5 50e. I still prefer driving the X6M. The sound and pull of that V8 makes trips to gas stations worth it.

Yeah,Marina Bay for the F98. Tanzanite II on the F95 and Long Beach for the M2.
