OK, the part I hate most about working on my front M-Sport brakes is removing/installing those two top caliper guide pins that hold the clip on top. I feel like I need a third hand.......one to hammer it out, another to hold the clip down, another to try to grab the end of the pin to wiggle out. Similar with trying to get it back in.
Am I missing some sort of secret trick to getting these out and back in???

Edit - to clarify, they aren't 'stuck', I just find once my punch gets the pin out of the first hole, the clip then push's/angles it up so that the punch can no longer line up with it unless I use another tool to push down on the clip. So then one hand holding punch, another holding the clip down, no more hands to hammer with!!

See if this helps, use your punch to get the pin to purtrude on the others side, use a screw driver to press on the clip to release pressure on the pin with one hand as you pull the pin the rest of the way out with the other hand.

Thanks, that actually worked easier this time. In the past it did not work very easily. I think it did this time because it hadn't been too long since I last had them apart so the pin wasn't as dirty/stuck.

Glad it worked out.
