'22 x5 xdrive40i. Idrive 7. iPhone 16 pro max. all up to date.

A few months ago more like 3-4 months, in the middle of two different versions of IOS, meaning not after an update of IOS, I started experiencing random disconnect of the iPhone from the BMW system. no matter what I do it will only reconnect after I restart idrive or turn car off and on. It started randomly on both my phone and wife's phone. I deleted my devices and re-added it many times, I did a idrive reset and here is the problem I am experiencing still:
- random drops
- clicking on CarPlay beside the home icon does not go in CarPlay I have to call on Siri or bmw voice assistant to go in CarPlay
- I park my car and lock the doors and the phone stays connected to the BMW, most likely CarPlay but the car is completely off. I have to click on wifi to turn and it and it disconnects from assuming a ghost CarPlay.

I read the DTC code today an I saw a new error, 801c16 vehicle electrical system: sleep error when customer not in the vehicle.

I'm at a lost and seriously getting frustrated. My car is on extended warranty however I have a lack of faith of my dealership's ability or willingness to fix this, to be fair, I did not go there yet around this issue.
