MY27 X6 40i vs 60i

Hi,

This is my first time posting and first BMW. Apologies for any ignorance.

I called around and got an offer for 8.1% off msrp for MY2027 X6 M60i.
I also have 4000 military discount on top of that (this is pre-tax?) and a post tax rebate of 1000 from BMWCCA.

I am getting the car in Isle Man of Green. I honestly do not need the V8, so I am wondering if it is possible to get the X6 40i in IOMG, or if this will be blocked since it is a “standard” option on the 60i variant. If it is possible, will this be a 1950 for 5000 option?

In addition I have recently stumbled on the fact that it may be possible to order DHP or Adaptive M Suspension Professional? What other options can I ask the dealer to order that are not configurable on the website? IAS? I do not understand which options are really worth it as I do not know what they do or come with, and would these be available on both 40i and 60i variant?

Welcome to the forum. Unless something changed from MY26 (I think it was mentioned the MY27 pricing guide was wrong), Isle of Mann Green is only available on the M60i and not the 40i. Last I saw, Adaptive M Suspension Professional/DHP was not available for any models.

Really the only way you will know what is available is to have the dealer try and put an order in since often the pricing guides and Configurator are not current. If want you want is not available then tell them you don't want to order it (if the missing option makes a difference).

Thanks for saying that and glad you came out in the open and joined us. Good luck on your decision. If it is any help, no one needs a V8 but once you have one it can be very satisfying. I thought my 40i was perfect capable and quite quick, then I got a V8 and not sure I can go back.

As an update on the ordering guide it seems rear wheel steer is now standard, but no mention of the m professional suspension or ARS. My dealer has informed me it shows in his internal system but not the public website. It was under my impression that this had been the case for a while, but had been changed to completely unavailable.

Debating if the m professional suspension will be noticeably harsher than m adaptive..I am on NY roads.

I am the member that posted all the mistakes on the ordering guide. I just ordered a 2027X6 about a week ago. My dealer showed me a new ordering guide for the X6 that was updated on 03/31/2026 and everything I previously mentioned has been corrected. Turtle Boy is correct it now shows Isle of Mann Green is not available on the 40I
