Hi All,

I just picked up the 2026 X5 m60i and I love it so far. I have tinted the windows and spacers coming in later this week. 20mm in the rear and 15mm in the front. My question is regarding suspension; what you all suggest just to close the wheel to fender gap just a little bit. I want to try my hardest not to sacrifice any ride quality. I had a model y in the past where I added coil overs and I don’t feel like it changed much. Not looking to slam it, just close the gap 1 inch-1.5 inches

Thanks!

I was looking for the same on my '25 x40i and, after reading through threads regarding a number of different options that posters had discussed in the "Wheels, Tires, Suspension, Brakes, Chassis" sub-forum, I decided to go with the MSS Urban Adjustable Ride System. I paired that kit with 15/20 spacers to fill out the wheel wells.

I had the kit installed at it's lowest settings and, after the suspension settled in, I ended up with about a 1.25" drop all the way around. The swap yielded a big upgrade aesthetically and an even bigger upgrade in ride quality imo. Everything feels tighter, but not in a harsh way; I mean tighter as in more responsive and grounded. It's been about 18 months since I made the swap, and I haven't had a single issue since install day.

Including a before/after comp picture below as a reference point. Ben @ RG Sport (r33_RGSport) was a huge help as he has tons of experience with this setup and many others on the G05 platform. Feel free to DM me if you have any other questions.

Awesome. Thank you so much for the advice and the pics. The stance you achieve is exactly what I’m looking for! Thank you!
