Has anyone tried this on the F95/F96?
p.s my bad, apparently if you run stock suspension, you can tweak it to be 5-10% softer, curious now myself
"Suspension / Dampers
The biggest change. The factory adaptive dampers go to their softest calibration — softer than even regular Comfort. You'll feel it most over broken pavement, expansion joints, and highway chop. The X5M in regular Comfort is already firm for an M car; Comfort+ takes a noticeable edge off. It won't make it feel like an air-suspended 7 Series, but the difference is real and appreciated on rough SoCal roads.
Steering
Lighter power assist. The X5M's steering in Sport/Sport+ is weighted up considerably — Comfort+ goes the opposite direction, very easy turn-in effort with less road feedback. Some people love it for freeway lane changes, others find it too vague.
Throttle Mapping
Softer, more gradual tip-in. The S63 in Sport+ has an aggressive initial surge — Comfort+ smooths that out significantly. Makes low-speed traffic and parking lot maneuvering with 600 hp a lot more manageable.
Transmission (ZF 8HP90)
Upshifts happen earlier and at lower RPMs, holds gears much less aggressively. Torque converter lockup behavior is more relaxed. Essentially the transmission acts like it's in a luxury SUV rather than an M car.
What does NOT change:
Engine output — still full power available if you floor it
DSC/stability settings — unchanged from whatever you have set
Exhaust valve behavior — that's controlled separately
AWD split logic"
yodabro wroteSo are you going to try coding Comfort Plus mode on your F95?hard to imagine anything on 21/22 wheels and M suspension will give you significantly more comfort on a bad road with software tweaks.. I was looking into it, and its hardware issue, haha, at least for my goals it was.

-cj- wroteI would assume that's gonna be the budget.Man, I’d love to try out a comfort plus option with some of the roads I drive on. But I wouldn’t pay more than a couple hundred bucks for it.
He mentioned that burbles is 300usd, transmission tune 150usd, stage 1 and 350 euro stage 3, 2WD - 200usd, etc., not crazy numbers, tbh, but be mindful about any warranty or dealer issues. I am on the fence because I got the car with 3 years extended and trying not to mess it up, coz it was free but also want all these features

He can do remote, all you need is a laptop and Ethernet to OBD cable, according to him.

And yeah, I’d be cautious too, if I were in your shoes! My warranty just expired so now I’m in the “do I want to break anything” phase of ownership
